Section 2 – Building a Team

Do you know your own strengths? Have you done a strengths finder test?

Are you committed to just doing the jobs that fall within your strengths and outsourcing or systematising the rest?

Are you familiar with what strengths profiles are ideal for what job roles?

Are you recruiting in the right order? (ie. Post job, strengths finder test for 3 applicants, short interview, trial period and then hire the person)

Do you understand how your team are wired? And therefore how to reward them? (eg. Influencers on commission and executors on fixed pay)

Are you holding a team meeting at least once a fortnight? (virtually or otherwise?)

Are you interacting with your team members individually at least once a fortnight?

Are you gathering monthly reports from your team on the key aspects of business? (eg. Finances, sales and renewals, where enquiries came from, marketing costs vs. Enquiries in, client performance/wellbeing)

Do you have contracts set up with all your team members? (stating who is responsible for taxation, nda, notice periods, rates of pay)

Do you have non-negotiables set up with all your team members?
